He stated that the party would submit its membership register to INEC either on Tuesday or Wednesday.

We have zoned the partys presidential candidature to the south. No mincing words, weve zoned it to the south. Therefore, whoever from the south wants to run, go and register quickly today, Galadima said during the interview.

Meanwhile, former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has dismissed reports about plans to defect to the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), after the former presidential candidate, Peter Obis exit from the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Atiku, in a statement through his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication, Phrank Shaibu, on Monday, described reports of his imminent defection to the NDC as fake news.

In the statement titled This is FAKE NEWS, Shaibu denied claims that Atiku has held secret talks on defection with ADC officials.

He further stated that Atiku remains committed to the ADC and its mission of rescuing Nigeria, and there will be no distraction to it.
